We invite everyone who is interested in sailing to join our team! No experience is required. 

 

*All new recruits are encouraged to come to a few practices (for free) to see what the team is all about*

All members need to fill out a liabilty relase waiver from CSULB which can be found here

 

Practices: 12-3pm Mon / Wed / Fri 

Long Beach Yacht Club Junior Sailing Area (near Sea Scout Base)

*carpools can be arranged

 

What to Wear: 

Board Shorts / Athletic Pants (you might get wet) 

Wet suit (it can be cold in the winter) 

Water Booties, old pair of running shoes or shoes that will dry out quickly at night (like converses or vans)

sailing gloves or gardening gloves (Atlas makes the best and can be found at ACE hardware) 

Sun Glasses 

Life Jacket (will need to be purchased once you join the team)

 

What to bring: 

Towel

Dry Clothes

Water

Sun Screen

Smile and willingness to work
